Uzbekistan’s tourism potential showcased at the international tourism fair in Berlin

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Chairman of the Tourism Committee Abdulaziz Akkulov, is taking part in the event. The prestigious international fair brings together 5,800 major companies and firms specializing in tourism, gastronomy, logistics, travel technologies, as well as international experts from 170 countries worldwide.
At Uzbekistan’s national stand, organized with the support of the Tourism Committee and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin, travel companies and tour operators are presenting the country’s tourism opportunities. The stand features video presentations highlighting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, photographs, and showcases of the country’s gastronomic and diverse travel experiences.
Within the framework of the fair, Chairman of the Tourism Committee Abdulaziz Akkulov is holding bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations.
In particular, during negotiations with delegations from the tourism ministries of Germany, Croatia, and Armenia, the leadership of the Turkish‑Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DİTİB), as well as representatives of “Private Palace Hotels & Resorts,” “Expedia Group,” “Amadeus IT Group,” and the international tourism exhibition “IFTM Top Resa” (France), discussions focus on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, the conditions created for domestic and international tourists and tour operators, the development of tourism infrastructure, and ongoing reforms in the sector.
In addition, representatives of Uzbek travel companies participating in the fair are conducting productive B2B negotiations with foreign partners aimed at further expanding international cooperation and increasing tourist flows.
