Cooperation with Turkish Airlines discussed at the Tourism Committee

During the meeting, detailed information was presented on the systemic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years aimed at developing the tourism sector, enhancing modern tourism infrastructure, expanding transport and logistics capabilities, and improving service quality.
The parties also noted the steady growth in the number of foreign tourists visiting the country, as well as the contribution of Turkish Airlines to promoting a positive image of Uzbekistan on the international stage.
The negotiations focused on the implementation of joint PR campaigns with Turkish Airlines to promote Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as its pilgrimage, gastronomic, ecological, and MICE tourism potential in European markets, including Germany, the Scandinavian countries, Greece, and the United States. Opportunities to organize road shows, workshops, B2B meetings, and media tours targeting specific audiences were also discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen strategic cooperation aimed at developing sustainable and high-quality tourism, enhancing Uzbekistan’s image in the international tourism market, and jointly implementing promising projects designed to increase the flow of foreign visitors.
