An open dialogue between the public and private sectors on tourism development was held in the Syrdarya Region

The meeting was attended by representatives of the khokimiyat of the Syrdarya Region, relevant ministries and agencies, as well as around 40 entrepreneurs, including tour operators, representatives of the hotel and restaurant business, transport service providers, heads of recreational areas, and representatives of cultural institutions.
During the dialogue, participants discussed the development of medical, sports, ecological, agro-, gastronomic, hunting, and recreational tourism in the region, the expansion of roadside service facilities, the modernization of tourism infrastructure, and the creation of new tourism products. In a presentation delivered by A. Akkulov, Head of the Republican working group, the results of the work carried out in the Syrdarya Region in 2025 were presented in detail, along with the priority tasks planned for 2026.
Following the meeting, it was noted that all voiced proposals and appeals would be reviewed jointly with the relevant ministries and agencies, practical measures would be developed in accordance with established legislation, and efforts to further strengthen public–private partnership would continue.
The next meetings will be held in the Samarkand Region and the city of Samarkand: on February 11 at 5:00 p.m. at the Mövenpick Hotel (53 Shokhrukh Mirzo Street) with the participation of accommodation facilities and public catering enterprises, and on February 12 at 5:00 p.m. at the small assembly hall of the Youth Center (63 Abdurakhmon Jami St.) with the participation of tour operators, guides, representatives of transport companies, and artisans.
