The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In accordance with the Decree, the staff schedules of the embassies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the states specified in the annex to this Decree are supplemented with the position of Advisor on Culture and Tourism.

This position has been established in order to enhance the effectiveness of coordination of Uzbekistan’s initiatives in the fields of culture and tourism abroad.

Appointment to and dismissal from the position of Advisor shall be carried out by the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the basis of a submission from the Head of the Department of Creative Economy and Tourism of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Advisor reports to the Head of the diplomatic mission and assists in his or her activities aimed at developing bilateral relations.

At the same time, the Advisor is accountable to the Head of the Department of Creative Economy and Tourism of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
