Uzbekistan wins “Promising Travel Direction 2026” award in the United States

Uzbekistan participated in one of the largest international tourism exhibitions of the United States - Travel & Adventure Show 2026, which took place on January 24-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
The national stand of Uzbekistan, organized by the Tourism Committee, became one of the most notable and attractive at the exhibition. Visitors were presented with the country's rich historical and cultural heritage, unique monuments of the Great Silk Road, traditional folk crafts, gastronomic and event tourism, as well as modern tourist routes aimed at various categories of travelers.
The exhibition brought together representatives of leading US travel agencies, airlines, investment structures, and mass media, allowing Uzbekistan to effectively demonstrate its tourism potential to a wide American audience.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Uzbekistan was also recognized as the winner in the "Promising Travel Direction 2026" nomination, which was confirmed by the corresponding certificate.
In 2025, more than 37 thousand tourists from the USA visited Uzbekistan. Considering the introduction of a visa-free regime for US citizens, as well as an active advertising campaign to promote the country's tourism potential, an increase in the flow of American travelers is expected.
