Fred Hafner, President of the German company CTOUR Touristik. Forum and an independent journalist, took part in the media forum “Uzbekistan Through New Eyes: Creating Stories That Inspire the World,” which was held from 18 to 28 November 2025 as part of a media campus organized by the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan during the 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road.”

In addition, the journalist emphasizes the country’s cultural and historical heritage, particularly Registan Square in Samarkand, described as “the most beautiful place in the world,” as well as the architecture of Khiva and Bukhara, which immerse visitors in the atmosphere of the ancient East.

In conclusion, he underscores Uzbekistan’s immense potential as a tourism destination, especially given the relatively low cost of travel compared to European resorts, and expresses confidence in the country’s appeal to a wide range of travelers.
