The Regulation defines the procedure for creating tourist trails in buffer zones of state reserves, national parks, nurseries, forestry and hunting enterprises, as well as in mountainous and desert areas (eco-zones).
According to the Regulation, the landholder submits an application to the territorial division of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the location for the organization of a tourist trail.
The application must be accompanied by: a certificate for the tourist trail, its map, and photo and video materials.
The application is reviewed within 10 working days from the date of receipt.
The territorial division, after visiting the site, assesses the compliance of the tourist trail with established requirements and prepares an act in two copies based on the results.
The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan reviews the documents submitted by the territorial division within 2 working days and enters the tourist trail into the Unified Register of Tourist Trails.
Tourist trails are considered organized after being entered into the Unified Register.
Within 1 month from the date of entry into the Register, the landholder must install at the trailhead its passport, map, and required informational signs.
