Meeting between the Director of the Cadastre Agency and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Mr. Won Do Yeon

On September 18 of this year, a meeting was held between Pulatov Farrukh Jakhongirovich, the Director of the Cadastre Agency, and Mr. Won Do Yeon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, to discuss the effective continuation of strategic cooperation in the field of land and real estate relations.
The agenda included an introduction to the Agency's activities and a discussion of joint projects with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Land and Spatial Information Corporation (LX).
Specifically, the following joint projects were discussed:
Creation of a national geographic information system in Uzbekistan;
Standardization of spatial data;
Development of a comprehensive system for strengthening national spatial information capacity in Uzbekistan.
It was noted that these projects make a significant contribution to bringing geoinformation systems and the spatial data sector to a new qualitative level.
To open up new areas of cooperation and elevate relations to a new stage, proposals were made to:
* modernize the address system;
* expand cooperation in the field of mass appraisal of real estate.
At the end of the meeting, the next steps were defined to strengthen cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
