In the Khorezm region, fair solutions are being found regarding residential houses that citizens have been using for many years but which have not yet been legally documented.

As of today, in 8 districts of the Khorezm region, a total of 41 cases received positive conclusions through the official “kadastr.uz” electronic platform from the relevant authorities regarding properties belonging to citizens.

The distribution by districts is as follows:

• Bogot District – 6 cases

• Gurlan District – 2 cases

• Kushkupir District – 5 cases

• Shavat District – 3 cases

• Tuproqqala District – 1 case

• Khazarasp District – 13 cases

• Khiva District – 1 case

• Yangibozor District – 10 cases

For these cases, documents were prepared for granting land lease rights to the citizens, as well as recognizing ownership rights over the buildings and structures built on the plots. These documents were submitted to the Khorezm Regional Council of People's Deputies and were approved.

Such a legal approach considers the real-life needs of citizens and creates opportunities for them to formalize ownership over their homes built with their own efforts over many years.

The process is being carried out in a transparent and open manner via the "Kadastr.uz" platform, marking an important step toward increasing legal awareness and systematically solving existing issues.
