Jizzakh Delegation Participated in the 2nd Uzbekistan–Russia Interregional Council Held in the Moscow Region

Within the framework of the Council, a memorandum was signed between the Jizzakh Regional Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region of the Russian Federation to promote cooperation in the areas of trade and economy, science and technology, culture, humanitarian affairs, and social development.
The Jizzakh delegation also held meetings with Vladimir Mazur, Governor of Tomsk Region; Vitaly Khotsenko, Governor of Omsk Region; and representatives of other regions. During the discussions, the participants reviewed the potential of the regions and addressed ways to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
Z. Azimov invited the leaders of Russian regions to visit Jizzakh Region and become acquainted with its investment projects.
In addition, a meeting was held with Vladimir Potemkin, Deputy Governor of Kaluga Region, during which negotiations were conducted regarding the planned official visit of the Kaluga Region’s governor to Jizzakh Region at the end of the first quarter of next year.
