During the event, the regional governor specially emphasized the wide opportunities and conditions being created for young people by the leadership of our country.
It was noted that at a recent meeting of the President with the youth, educated, proactive, and dedicated young people were recognized. It was highlighted that young men and women from Fergana are also effectively utilizing these opportunities and achieving high results. At Kokand University, where over eleven thousand students are studying, it was stressed that youth should always be active, inquisitive, and initiative-taking.
“The main goal should be to gain knowledge. The most valuable asset is time. It must be cherished. A person should aim to be a worthy descendant of their ancestors who left a lasting name for themselves,” said the regional governor.
Afterward, the initiatives and proposals of the youth were heard. In particular, suggestions were made to expand volunteer movements, prevent violence among children, and increase social activity. Information was also shared about projects for teaching the population and youth entrepreneurship, supporting the start and development of businesses, and involving children with disabilities in active life.
Attention was also given to creating the “Leaders’ Garden” under the “Green Space” project, launching a new educational center, increasing the number of IT centers in cities and districts and boosting youth activity in them, as well as organizing youth forums.
The initiative to establish a Youth and Governor Council and several other proposals were also put forward. The regional governor gave responsible officials the necessary instructions to support each proposal and implement them systematically. It was announced that their effectiveness and results will be monitored.
Additionally, the regional governor gave advice to young people on how to effectively organize their activities in the future. The dialogue, held in an open and constructive atmosphere, further strengthened the youth’s confidence in the future.
