Can Children Under 15 Work?

Under the Labor Code and the Law "On Guarantees of the Rights of the Child," employing children under 15 in permanent or heavy work is prohibited!
The minimum age for employment is 16.
With parental (or guardian) consent, persons under 15 may perform light work from this list that does not harm their health or education.
For example:
Sport, culture, and art: participation in theater, film, concert, fashion, or advertising projects;
Media and creative activities: drawing, design, creating digital content, children's blogging, and participation in competitions and creative projects.
Working time limits:
- at ages 15–16 — up to 24 hours per week;
- if the child is studying — up to 12 hours per week.
Work must be carried out only after school hours or during holidays.
