The presentation of the World Bank report "Poverty and Equity Assessment for Uzbekistan: Toward Shared Prosperity and Expanding Opportunities for All" continues today in Khorezm region.

At the event, attended by World Bank experts, representatives of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the mahalla system, the private sector, and regional media, the findings of international research on poverty reduction are being discussed alongside practical work being carried out in the regions.

In particular, special attention has been given to ensuring employment in Khorezm region, helping families secure stable sources of income, conducting targeted work with families included in the Social Registry, and regional experience in poverty reduction.

The dialogue also covers the key findings of the World Bank study, existing challenges, and priority tasks for further reducing poverty going forward.

The second part of the event, with the participation of international experts, is planned to include a detailed look at projects being implemented in the regions and practical experience aimed at increasing residents' incomes.
