The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, in cooperation with the European Union, is implementing the project "Strengthening the Economic Potential and Efficiency of Household Plot Owners and Dekhkan Farms in Uzbekistan."

The project aims to increase the incomes of household plot owners and dekhkan farms, expand employment opportunities in rural areas, and strengthen food security.

The project is being implemented in Tashkent, Samarkand, and Andijan regions. Initial activities are being held in Tashkent region on July 8–14.

As part of these activities, informational and awareness-raising meetings and training seminars on opportunities for developing cooperation are being organized for dekhkan farms, household plot owners, farmers, food processors, cooperative leaders, khokims' assistants, and other local participants.
