Vacancy: Dairy Value Chain / Agribusiness Specialist

Responsibilities

To provide technical, analytical, and coordination support in the development of the dairy value chain (DVC) within the implementation of projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of the agri-food sector, improving the quality of dairy products, expanding market access, and promoting sustainable agribusiness.

Qualifications and experience

• University degree in agronomy, agroeconomics, agribusiness, veterinary science, animal husbandry, food technology, or related fields;
• At least 5 years of experience in agribusiness, veterinary, livestock, food industry, or agro-projects (preferably with a focus on dairy);
• At least 5 years of experience working in projects financed by international financial institutions (IFIs), including the World Bank, EBRD, FAO, IFAD, etc., with a focus on sustainable rural development, food security, or agricultural sector transformation;
• At least 3 years of practical experience in veterinary science, animal husbandry, food safety, business and financial management, quality standards, and logistics;
• Excellent skills in data analysis, report writing, and presentation preparation;
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and interact with diverse stakeholders;
• Proficiency in Uzbek and/or Russian. Good working knowledge of English is mandatory.

 Remuneration

The monthly salary for the position of Project manager is USD 1 100 (including income tax).
