🔘 On the occasion of February 11 — the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, an educational event titled
“An Educated Woman — Towards a Sustainable Society”
was organized at the Nukus branch of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies.
🔘 The event was attended by female scholars working at the branch, female students, as well as master’s and doctoral students. During the event, participants exchanged views on current trends in scientific development, the expansion of innovative research, increasing the effectiveness of scientific studies, and strengthening the scientific potential of youth.
🔘 The discussions were held in the spirit of open dialogue. PhD in Veterinary Sciences A. Kamalova delivered a speech highlighting the role of women in science and the opportunities being created for them:
“Today, the contribution of women to science is invaluable. They demonstrate their potential not only in practice but also in scientific research. We strive to create broad opportunities for young girls to freely engage in scientific activities and achieve their aspirations.”
🔘 During the event, issues related to expanding cooperation in scientific research between female scholars and students, exchanging experience, and implementing new projects were discussed. It was noted that the number of women engaged in scientific activities at the branch is increasing year by year.
