Happy Independence Day!
Assalomu alaykum, dear residents of Shakhrisabz!
I sincerely congratulate you on the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan!
Independence is our people’s greatest and most precious blessing and the firm foundation of our national statehood, peaceful and prosperous life, and present-day development.
The wide-ranging reforms being carried out in our country under the leadership of our esteemed President are also clearly reflected in the life of Shakhrisabz. New enterprises and businesses, modern housing, educational facilities and tourism sites are being established, while roads, drinking water supplies, electricity networks and other infrastructure are steadily improving.
The international standing of our ancient yet ever-youthful Shakhrisabz continues to grow. Our city has earned such distinguished titles as “City of Festivals” and “World Craft City”.
These achievements reflect our people’s dedicated work, unity, creative potential and firm confidence in the future.
Dear compatriots!
United around the noble idea “As one homeland and one people, we will build a new life and future!”, we will continue working together for the prosperity of Shakhrisabz and the development of New Uzbekistan.
