About the Information Service
Information Service of Shakhrisabz City Administration
The Information Service of Shakhrisabz City Administration operates in accordance with Presidential Resolution No. PP–4366 of 27 June 2019 on Additional Measures to Ensure the Independence of the Media and Develop the Activities of Information Services of Public Bodies and Organizations, and with applicable legislation.
Its main purpose is to ensure openness and transparency in the administration’s activities, inform the public about reforms, socio-economic development and important events in the area, and organize effective cooperation with the media.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and publish official information on the activities of Shakhrisabz City Administration;
- explain state policy, ongoing reforms and regional development programmes to the public;
- organize cooperation with media representatives, journalists and bloggers;
- arrange responses to journalists’ information requests in accordance with the law;
- organize press conferences, briefings, interviews and other information events;
- provide content for the administration’s official website and social media pages;
- study public opinion on the administration’s activities and monitor the information environment;
- provide official information on topical issues of public interest within its remit.
Publishing and Updating Information on the Official Website
Information on the official website of Shakhrisabz City Administration is prepared, published and regularly updated in accordance with Presidential Resolution No. PP–4366 of 27 June 2019 and other relevant legislation.
The Information Service prepares official information on the administration’s activities, publishes information supplied by the relevant structural units and regularly updates published materials.
