To ensure compliance with environmental regulations during the preparation stage for construction, the company developed a project titled “Statement on Environmental Impact (SEI).” Public hearings on this project were held on July 25, 2025.
Eighteen representatives of the local population, relevant organizations, and industry specialists were invited to the hearings. During the event, the project was thoroughly reviewed, and measures to ensure environmental safety were discussed. The participants expressed their support for the project.
The Center for State Ecological Expertise established a number of environmental requirements for the project, including:
-
Waste generated during construction must be recycled or disposed of in accordance with Resolution No. 40 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated January 28, 2021;
-
To reduce air dust levels, regular watering of the area will be carried out;
-
Tree cutting is strictly prohibited. Under the “Green Space” and “Green Belt” initiatives, at least 25% of the territory will be landscaped;
-
During construction and operation, strict compliance with technological requirements for environmental safety and the protection of workers’ and residents’ health is mandatory;
-
Renewable energy sources, energy-saving technologies, LED lighting, and photovoltaic cameras will be introduced;
-
Atmospheric emissions will be controlled using modern dust and gas purification systems with an efficiency of no less than 99.5%;
-
Household waste management, as well as washing and disinfection of containers, will be organized in accordance with Government Resolution No. 787;
-
In the next design stage, final environmental documentation will be prepared based on an act issued by the Namangan Regional Department of Ecology;
-
Before the enterprise is put into operation, an Environmental Impact Conclusion (EIC) will be developed and submitted for ecological expertise.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the development of the local economy, the creation of new jobs, and the strengthening of the pharmaceutical supply system for the population.
