
What are environmental safety requirements?

Environmental safety requirements are a set of mandatory rules established to prevent harm to the environment.
They are determined based on the codes, laws, and subordinate regulations of the republic of uzbekistan, as well as environmental norms and rules, technical regulatory documents, and standards.
Requirements applied during the state ecological expertise:
- Verification of whether the submitted materials comply with environmental protection legislation and regulations on the rational use of natural resources;
- Assessment of the reliability and completeness of information regarding the environmental and social impacts of planned, proposed, or ongoing economic and other activities;
- Verification of the validity of environmental impact assessments related to biological and chemical substances and technologies;
- Verification of the accuracy of environmental risk assessments associated with planned, proposed, or ongoing activities;
- Assessment of the adequacy and justification of measures aimed at ensuring environmental safety;
- Verification of the validity of draft environmental standards.
