The Uzbek language is an invaluable treasure of our people, preserving their history, culture, traditions, and rich spiritual heritage throughout the centuries. Our native language plays a vital role in fostering national identity, strengthening spiritual ties between generations, and highlighting our people’s contribution to the development of world civilization.
The adoption of the Law “On the State Language” on October 21, 1989, was one of the most significant events in the history of our country. This historic step opened up new opportunities to strengthen the legal status of our native language and enhance its role and prestige in society.
Today, expanding the use of the Uzbek language in public administration, education, science, culture, and other fields, preserving its purity, and passing on its rich and unique heritage to future generations are important responsibilities for each of us. Particular importance must be attached to respecting our native language and using it correctly and competently. All of this requires a high level of responsibility from every one of us.
May our native language continue to flourish, may its significance and prestige grow steadily, and may it always remain a source of pride and an invaluable spiritual treasure of our people!
