The meeting focused on the substantive and organisational preparations for Uzbekistan’s participation in this major international climate conference.

Participants discussed the following key areas:

🔹 Uzbekistan’s key climate priorities and initiatives;
🔹 Presentation of national projects and results achieved;
🔹 Preparation of events and the delegation’s programme of activities;
🔹 Engagement with international partners;
🔹 Communications and media coverage of the country’s participation.

Particular attention was paid to developing a unified communications strategy to present Uzbekistan’s climate initiatives, national measures for climate change adaptation and mitigation and the country’s contribution to achieving global climate goals to the international community.

Following the meeting, further steps and priority areas for joint action were identified.

COP31 will provide an important platform for strengthening international cooperation and advancing Uzbekistan’s climate agenda.
