New Facility in Jambay: Environmental Requirements Discussed

The event was organized in accordance with Resolution No. 234 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The hearings were attended by specialists from the Samarkand Regional Branch of the Center for State Ecological Expertise, representatives of the project design organization, and residents of nearby areas.
During the discussion, the project initiator was provided with recommendations on compliance with environmental requirements, including:
Landscaping and tree protection — in accordance with paragraph 2 of Decree No. UP-46 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 30, 2021.
Establishing a household waste collection area and installing waste containers — in accordance with Resolution No. 787 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 2, 2018.
Preservation of trees within the construction site — conducting an inventory of trees and preventing any damage to them.
Compliance with environmental requirements stipulated in the state environmental expertise conclusion.
During the hearings, participants shared their views and put forward additional proposals. Following the discussion, the project was approved by the hearing participants.
