Priority Tasks Outlined in the President’s Address — An Important Guideline for Development

An educational seminar dedicated to the content and key provisions of the address delivered by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the ceremonial event marking the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence was held at the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change.
The seminar was attended by leaders and employees of the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change, organizations within its system, territorial departments, the State Center for Environmental Expertise, as well as representatives of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the outset, participants were provided with detailed information about the important ideas and initiatives put forward by the Head of State, as well as the priority tasks identified for the country’s new stage of development.
During the seminar, it was noted that, as the President emphasized: “Today we are stronger than yesterday. God willing, tomorrow we will be even stronger.” It was also highlighted that 35 years of independent development have demonstrated that when the people and the state unite around a common goal and act together, there is no goal that cannot be achieved.
Particular attention was paid to the content of national programs covering the seven priority areas outlined in the address. In particular, explanations were provided regarding such objectives as improving the well-being of the population and ensuring human dignity, developing the economy through high technologies and increased labor productivity, ensuring the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law, transforming the mahalla into a key foundation for societal development, and further strengthening an atmosphere of peace and friendship.
Special emphasis was placed on environmental issues directly related to the sector’s activities. The tasks identified included fundamentally changing attitudes toward water and nature, widely introducing water-saving technologies, and taking the nationwide “Yashil Makon” movement to a new qualitative level.
At the conclusion of the seminar, it was emphasized that the goals and objectives outlined in the President’s address require every employee to demonstrate a high level of responsibility, initiative, and a strong sense of commitment to the country’s development.
At the same time, it was noted that important priorities include making a meaningful contribution to the implementation of the large-scale reforms being carried out in the country, ensuring effective environmental protection, and promoting environmental sustainability.
The event concluded with a screening of a video entitled “Uzbekistan Is Moving Forward from the Depths of History.”
