The event was attended by representatives of the Baliqchi District Hokimiyat, the Andijan Regional Branch of the State Center for Environmental Expertise, the district Department of Ecology, the chairperson of the "Savrnavul" mahalla, local entrepreneurs, and residents living near the proposed project site.

During the hearings, the project initiators presented detailed information on the planned production capacity, modern technological processes, and the measures envisaged to ensure environmental safety. Particular attention was given to waste management, efficient wastewater treatment, mitigation of adverse impacts on ambient air quality, and strict compliance with applicable environmental regulations and standards.

Representatives of the Andijan Regional Branch of the State Center for Environmental Expertise explained the purpose and significance of public hearings, the procedures for conducting the State Environmental Expertise, and the process for taking public opinions into account when making relevant decisions. They emphasized that open public consultations play an important role in ensuring transparency in the implementation of projects that may have an impact on the environment, protecting public interests, and preventing environmental risks.

During the discussion, local residents raised questions of interest to them and shared their comments and suggestions regarding the project. Comprehensive responses were provided to all questions, along with additional explanations on the practical measures that will be implemented to ensure environmental safety.

Following the public hearings, community representatives and residents expressed their support for the project, provided that all environmental requirements are strictly observed.

The public hearings marked an important step toward strengthening open dialogue and cooperation among government authorities, the business community, and the public in the implementation of industrial development projects.
