Plans Identified to Strengthen Environmental Cooperation with Tajikistan

During the meeting, the parties highly appreciated the results of cooperation between the two institutions and identified priority areas for further joint efforts. In particular, they discussed the importance of promoting a unified position of the Central Asian countries on the international stage and within international organizations.
The parties also reviewed the outcomes of the Tajik delegation’s participation in Eco Expo Central Asia 2026, following which the Tajik side was invited to participate in Eco Expo Central Asia 2027.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the outcomes of the Eighth Assembly of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and discussed the results of cooperation with the Green Climate Fund (GCF), as well as prospects for further expanding this cooperation.
