“On measures for the effective organization of the activities of the Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety Committee under the Cabinet of Ministers”

Based on these documents, the Committee is recognized as an authorized government body with independent status. It is responsible for implementing and overseeing the unified state policy in the following areas:

– industrial safety at hazardous production facilities;
– radiation and nuclear safety at nuclear energy and technology sites;
– safety of elevators and amusement rides.

The Committee reports directly to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and conducts its activities in accordance with:

– the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
– decisions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament);
– decrees, resolutions, and executive orders of the President;
– resolutions and executive orders of the Cabinet of Ministers;
– its Charter and other regulatory legal acts.

🔹 Decisions made by the Committee within its scope of authority are mandatory for execution by ministries, agencies, local executive authorities, other organizations, officials, and citizens.
