Aviation Medicine Department Specialists Complete Professional Training at the Uzbekistan Airways Training Center

The primary objective of the visit was to gain insight into the system for the initial, recurrent, and advanced training of flight crew members in accordance with ICAO Standards.
During the visit, the specialists were introduced to state-of-the-art flight simulators used for training pilots on various aircraft types. They also observed practical simulator sessions focused on developing and maintaining crew competencies for normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
In addition, the participants reviewed the procedures for conducting pre-flight and post-flight debriefings, methods for evaluating flight crew performance, and best practices aimed at continuously enhancing flight safety.
The knowledge and practical insights gained during the visit will enable Aviation Medicine Department specialists to better understand the nature of flight crew duties, the factors affecting pilots' performance and well-being, and the operational environment in which they work. This experience will further contribute to improving the quality of aviation medical assessments in accordance with ICAO Standards and, ultimately, to strengthening flight safety.
