 In the course of the meeting, held in a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation, it was emphasized that multifaceted collaboration between Uzbekistan and China continues to develop steadily. The parties discussed project proposals aimed at the joint production of buses, motor scooters, and mini-tractors in cooperation with Chinese investors. Particular attention was also given to the establishment of service infrastructure for the maintenance of such machinery. “The most important aspect is ensuring that the products to be manufactured are high-quality and competitive. In addition, it is essential that these projects contribute to the creation of new jobs and generate stable sources of income for the local population. We are ready to support initiatives that meet these objectives,” said Governor Bozorov. The initiator of the project, China Highway Vehicle Machinery Co., Ltd., was established in 1986 in Beijing and is considered one of China’s major state-owned industrial enterprises. The company specializes in the production and export of transport vehicles and construction machinery and has built successful partnerships with countries across the globe. During the meeting, the parties agreed on the need to launch the proposed two-phase project in Furqat district without delay, while emphasizing the importance of incorporating advanced production technologies. A roadmap for cooperation and next steps was also agreed upon.
