Construction Begins on Burhaniddin Margiloniy Scientific-Educational Tourism Complex in Margilan

The development includes a man-made lake and musical fountain, Maqom Theater, the Burhaniddin Margiloniy Research Center, a museum, the symbolic "Otabek and Kumush House", trade and service centers, hotels, a marketplace, and a gastronomic center. Infrastructure works have also begun for electricity, potable water, natural gas supply, and the construction of main and internal road networks.
To mark the launch of construction, a formal ceremony was held with the participation of Fergana Regional Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, Regional Prosecutor Bakhtiyor Ismoilov, Head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs Azizbek Ikramov, local elders, representatives of partner organizations, and construction teams.
Governor Bozorov emphasized during his conversation with the builders that all facilities must be constructed to meet modern architectural standards with particular attention paid to landscaping and green areas. He noted that the complex is set to become a key landmark and cultural gem of Fergana.
The event was concluded with heartfelt prayers and best wishes from respected elders.
Construction teams and responsible institutions have now begun work on the designated structures, with coordination headquarters established to oversee each component of the project.
