Special emphasis was placed on the broad opportunities being created in Uzbekistan for investor activity, including the favorable investment climate formed in Fergana Region. In this regard, Yao Guifang expressed strong interest in implementing significant projects in the region.
It was noted that the implementation of new projects would create many jobs. At the same time, it was emphasized that special attention would be paid within the project to the creation of “green zones” in order to ensure environmental sustainability.
The Governor of the region put forward his proposals for further improvement of the projects, expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support, and stressed the need to commence work as soon as possible. Measures to develop cooperation were agreed upon.
