Governor Khayrullo Bozorov continues his Saturday field visits to Kokand, reviewing the implementation of instructions previously given on the city’s socio-economic development, driver projects, and tourism initiatives.

Today, progress across these areas was examined together with responsible officials. Heads of regional departments and agencies reported on the drafting of the city’s tourism concept, the inventory of idle buildings and efforts to attract investors to these sites, as well as ongoing projects in poverty reduction, industry, and investment. Presentations of new project proposals were also delivered.
Proposals from local initiators wishing to participate with their own projects at designated sites were heard. As part of the tourism concept, drafts for the “Zone 1” route were reviewed, alongside ideas to create distinctive Kokand brands.
The Governor instructed officials to develop projects in each direction comprehensively, support initiators, and bring the concepts to completion.
