In Tashkent, on the sidelines of the 26th meeting of the Uzbekistan–Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, Fergana Region Hokim Khayrullo Bozorov met with Radiy Khabirov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The parties discussed expanding interregional cooperation across multiple sectors. They noted that, thanks to the political will of the leaders of both countries and ongoing joint initiatives, bilateral economic ties continue to strengthen, while trade between Fergana Region and Bashkortostan has been growing steadily.
Following the meeting, the sides signed an agreement to deepen cooperation and establish sister-region relations.
