Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov held another meeting with entrepreneurs and investors at the Kokand Free Economic Zone

Officials presented projects planned within the Kokand Technopark. Business owners raised matters related to expediting confectionery production, processing dried fruits, launching aerated concrete block manufacturing, and building a jewelry trade complex, as well as access to bank financing, electricity and gas connections, and the allocation of production sites. Each request was examined with the participation of the relevant agency heads.
“We export children’s and women’s apparel and currently employ around 100 people. We asked the regional leadership for an additional land plot to expand our operations, and the request received a positive response. Under the new project, we plan to create a further 200 jobs,” said entrepreneur Muhiddin Tillaboyev.
Following the meeting, directives were issued to place viable projects within the Kokand Technopark and to make effective use of available capacities. A concrete action plan was adopted to support entrepreneurs’ proposals and promptly address the issues raised.
