The emblem was officially adopted on July 2, 1992, during the 10th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It reflects the natural wealth, historical heritage, and core values of the Uzbek people.
The design captures the beauty and generosity of the Uzbek land: a wreath of wheat ears and cotton branches, mountains and rivers, a rising sun, and the mythical Humo bird, symbolizing freedom, peace, and happiness. These elements emphasize the inseparable bond between nature, the people, and the state.
We congratulate all our compatriots on this significant day and wish every citizen to take pride in our national symbols, cherish nature, and contribute to building an ecologically clean and sustainable future for our country.
