Reports have been circulating on social media claiming that appeals from local residents to suspend the operations of "Farxod Sher Azizbek" Family Enterprise, engaged in lime production in Fergana District, have been ignored by the competent state authorities.
In response to these reports, a site inspection was conducted with the participation of representatives of the Environmental Control Department (Eco Police) and the local Citizens' Assembly (Mahalla).
According to the findings of the inspection, it was established that the lime production facility located in Chekshura Mahalla, Fergana District, is not currently in operation.
