During the monitoring activities, specialists assessed the implementation of the requirements set out in the conclusions of the state environmental expertise, the compliance of production processes with environmental standards, and the environmental protection measures undertaken by enterprises.
In particular, monitoring was carried out at BAXT TEKS FARM LLC, located in the city of Baxt, which manufactures yarn, medical absorbent cotton, and dressing materials. The inspection confirmed that the enterprise fully complies with the requirements established in the project documentation regarding atmospheric air protection, wastewater and waste management, as well as occupational safety regulations. The monitoring results showed that the enterprise fulfills all requirements and recommendations set out in the project documentation, applies modern environmentally friendly technologies, has installed solar panels and waste collection containers, and has improved the surrounding area.

As part of environmental control measures, inspections were also conducted at the finishing materials production workshop of EMRON BIZNES HAMKOR LLC in Gulistan, as well as at a stone-processing workshop owned by a private entrepreneur and located within the industrial zone of the Obod Yurt mahalla. Specialists verified the accuracy of the information contained in the submitted environmental documentation and provided detailed explanations to the enterprise representatives regarding the requirements of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 541, under which business activities may not be carried out without a positive conclusion of the state environmental expertise. Recommendations were also provided on reducing environmental impacts and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
Particular attention is being paid in the region to incorporating public opinion into the implementation of new development projects. A public hearing was held in the Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur Mahalla of Yangiyer city regarding the construction of a multi-storey residential building. The event was attended by specialists from the Syrdarya Regional Branch of the State Center for Environmental Expertise, representatives of the regional Department of Ecology, mahalla activists, the project developer, and representatives of relevant organizations. Following the discussions, it was concluded that the project's anticipated environmental impact would remain within the established standards. The project received unanimous support from the participants, and this decision was officially documented.
A similar public hearing was organized for a project initiated by SIRDARYA CHANGLONG LLC to construct a building materials manufacturing enterprise in the Yangiyer Mahalla of Khavast District. During the discussions, participants reviewed the project's environmental impact assessment, the application of low-waste and energy-efficient technologies, landscaping measures, and waste management arrangements in accordance with established procedures.
