Nature Protector Badges Awarded

The awards were presented by Aziz Abdukhakimov, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Environmental Issues and Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change. The badges were awarded to employees of the Committee, representatives of subordinate organizations and regional divisions, partner organizations, media representatives, and environmental activists.
During the event, Mr. Abdukhakimov emphasized that in recent years, under the leadership of the President of the country, ensuring environmental security and protecting the environment have become among the key priorities of state policy. He also noted that Uzbekistan is paying special attention to international cooperation in addressing pressing environmental challenges.
On the same day, an event dedicated to World Environment Day was also held at the Center for State Ecological Expertise. The Director General of the Center, G. Mukhamedov, congratulated employees of the sector on their professional holiday and highlighted the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country in the areas of environmental protection, rational use of natural resources, and the introduction of modern digital technologies into the sector’s activities.
During the event, a group of employees who made significant contributions to the development of environmental protection and environmental expertise were awarded Certificates of Honor by the Center for State Ecological Expertise.
The event dedicated to World Environment Day became not only a festive occasion for the Center’s staff but also another confirmation of their commitment to the important mission of environmental protection, sustainable use of natural resources, and preservation of environmental well-being.
