During the event, a representative of the Tashkent City branch of Ipoteka-bank provided employees with detailed information about methods of protection against cybercrimes on the Internet, measures to prevent fraud, and ways to safeguard personal data.
Today, the number of cyber threats is rapidly increasing all over the world. Mass media outlets report daily about citizens becoming victims of cyberattacks. Such threats include the spread of malicious software, password hacking, theft of funds from bank cards and other banking details, as well as the dissemination of false information through the Internet.
During the event, specialists noted that in some cases fraudsters, pretending to be employees of commercial banks, attempt to gain the trust of citizens through fake phone calls and deceptive messages, and illegally obtain online loans in their names. In this regard, special attention is being paid to raising employees’ awareness and ensuring customer security.
At the end of the event, participants received recommendations on preventing cyber threats and were provided with answers to their questions on the topic.
