On April 9, a ceremonial event dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of the great commander was held in the capital, in Amir Temur Square.
The event was attended by heads and responsible officials of ministries and agencies, representatives of science and culture, student youth, as well as the general public.
Representatives of the Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, the State Center for Environmental Expertise, and affiliated organizations also laid wreaths at the foot of the monument to Sahibkiran and honored his memory.
At the end of the event, participants visited the State Museum of the History of the Timurids, where they ознакомились with the rich historical heritage left by the great commander.
