On the status of facilities operating without a State ecological expertise conclusion in the Fergana region

During 2025, 3,006 of them submitted project documentation for state environmental expertise review. As a result of the examination, 3,295 state environmental expertise conclusions were issued. This represents 35.6% of the total number of entities subject to review.
According to the results of territorial inspections, it has been established that currently 4,680 enterprises and facilities in the region are operating without obtaining a state environmental expertise conclusion. Such cases have been identified in the cities of Fergana, Kokand, Margilan, Kuvasay, as well as in the districts of Sokh, Yaziyavan, Altaryk, Uchkuprik, and Besharyk.
In addition, at 162 large enterprises and organizations of Category I–II in the region, the following violations were identified:

absence of a state environmental expertise conclusion required at the stage of commissioning the facility;

continuation of operations after the expiration of previously issued state environmental expertise conclusions.
Ensuring compliance with the requirements of state environmental expertise is of significant importance for environmental protection and the provision of environmental safety.
