The event was attended by the Director General of the Center for State Ecological Expertise, G. Mukhamedov; lecturers from the Alisher Navoiy Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, Karomat Mullakhodjayeva and Fayzullo Iskandarov; as well as the staff of the center.
During the gathering, dedicated to the life and work of the "Sultan of the Word," speakers discussed Alisher Navoi's invaluable creative and scientific heritage. It was noted that his works hold a special place not only in the history of our people but also in world literature, playing a pivotal role in the development of our national culture.
It was emphasized that the poet, through his poetic and prose works, demonstrated high humanistic and patriotic ideas, showcasing the incomparable richness and boundless expressive possibilities of our mother tongue with all its charm and elegance. Consequently, he has earned a worthy and firm place in the hearts of millions of readers around the globe. The systematic and regular study and promotion of Alisher Navoi's literary heritage is both an honor and a duty for us.
Speakers at the event highlighted that Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur occupies a unique place in the culture, literature, and poetry of the medieval East. He was noted not only as a writer, poet, and scholar but also as a major statesman. With his broad worldview and brilliant intellect, he founded the Baburid dynasty in India, and his work "Baburnama" has placed him among the world's most renowned historians.
Today, the exquisite ghazals and rubais written by our great ancestors remain the rarest gems of Turkic poetry, making a worthy contribution to the fields of poetry and language theory.
Within the framework of the event, a "Political Enlightenment Hour" was also organized. A video presentation prepared by the Agency for Management Effectiveness under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was screened during the session. Detailed information was provided on the most significant and relevant socio-political processes occurring both domestically and abroad during the week, as well as on newly adopted legislative acts and their core essence.
