ISO 37001:2016 is an international standard that sets out requirements and guidance for implementing an anti-corruption management system aimed at preventing, detecting, and addressing corruption and bribery within organizations. The standard applies to all types of organizations and helps foster a culture of transparency and integrity in operations.
During the certificate awarding ceremony, the director of the CERT International certification body, Riad Asimovich Ibragimov, noted that the anti-corruption management system at the State Center for Environmental Expertise has been implemented in full compliance with international standards. According to him, the results of the independent audit confirmed the establishment of an effective system at the Center, based on principles of transparency, honesty, and accountability. It was emphasized that this certificate significantly strengthens international confidence in the Center’s activities.
Receiving the international ISO 37001:2016 certificate further confirms that the State Center for Environmental Expertise carries out its anti-corruption efforts through a systematic and consistent approach. At the same time, this achievement enhances the Center’s authority and level of trust among government agencies and international partners.
The certified anti-corruption management system obliges the Center’s employees to strictly adhere to the principles of legality, honesty, and transparency in the performance of their duties, which, in turn, contributes to higher responsibility, openness, and accountability in the organization’s activities.
