Fuel stations for motor vehicles will be relocated to safe zones

by March 1, 2026, bring the operations of fuel stations into compliance with the established minimum requirements based on the results of the conducted inspections;
by April 1, 2026, take measures to relocate to safe zones those stations that pose a threat to citizens’ lives and health, fail to meet public safety, environmental protection, industrial and fire safety standards, as well as urban planning norms, including the requirements for protective zones.
In this regard:

expenses related to the relocation or demolition of stations shall be compensated in accordance with the legislation;

relocated stations shall be provided with land plots in areas equipped with the necessary infrastructure;

if station owners express a desire to change the type of activity, they shall be permitted to engage in another activity at the existing location in accordance with legal procedures;

if gas-filling compressor stations are moved to safe areas, they shall be exceptionally granted technical conditions for connection to existing infrastructure (gas networks, electricity, etc.);

the allocation of land plots for construction of other facilities that do not comply with urban planning norms within the protective zones is strictly prohibited.
