COMPLIANCE CONTROL: AN EFFECTIVE MECHANISM AGAINST CORRUPTION

Experts emphasize that in combating corruption, it is more effective to eliminate its causes and conditions rather than only addressing its consequences. The compliance control service serves as precisely such a mechanism.
To effectively implement the priorities outlined at the expanded meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council chaired by the President on March 5, 2025, intensive training courses have begun in Tashkent, aimed at strengthening the effectiveness of internal anti-corruption units (compliance).
The head of the compliance control service of the Committee on Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, Sh. Sattarov, is also participating in these sessions. As highlighted during the seminar, under the new approach, compliance units are no longer a mere formal structure but a practical tool for embedding principles of integrity and transparency into the daily operations of state institutions.
Participants are engaged in practical training with experts on managing conflicts of interest, assessing the resilience of public servants to corruption risks, and applying international methods to reduce such risks.
