Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The press tour was organized at the initiative of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom" and was attended by representatives and responsible personnel from various divisions of the corporation, as well as representatives of the mass media from Uzbekistan.

During the press tour, information was presented about Rosatom’s projects, in particular about the small-capacity nuclear power plant project to be built in Jizzakh region of our country based on Russian technology. Presentations were also held on the technical capabilities of the corporation’s mechanical engineering division.

In addition, participants became acquainted with the production processes at the “AEM-Spetsstal” manufacturing complex and the workshops of the “Izhora” plant, both under Rosatom’s management.
