The Center for Economic Research and Reforms has prepared infographics (https://t.me/reviewuznews/7219) reflecting the dynamics of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade and investment cooperation with EU countries over the past eight years.
✅ Between 2017 and 2024, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover with EU countries increased 2.4 times – from $2.6 billion to $6.4 billion.
🔵 In 2024, export volume grew by 26.9% compared to 2023.
🔵 In 2024, import volume remained unchanged.
✅ EU countries are among the main suppliers to Uzbekistan of “machinery, equipment, and vehicles,” chemicals, and other industrially essential goods.
✅ There are nearly 1,000 enterprises in Uzbekistan with EU capital participation.
✅ Between 2017 and 2024, the total volume of direct investments and loans attracted from EU countries (including EU financial institutions) amounted to $12.4 billion.
