International Cooperation on the Sidelines of the 70th IAEA General Conference

On the sidelines of the 70th Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference, the State Institution "Scientific and Technical Center for Radiation and Nuclear Safety" under the Committee for Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety conducted bilateral talks with Dr. Raja Ali Raza Anwar, Chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), and Shahid Rashid, Executive Member of the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA).
The discussions centered on operationalizing cooperation under the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee and the PNRA, professional training and technical capacity building for specialists under IAEA programs, and upgrading the operational laboratory infrastructure of the Center.
