The Governor serves as the Secretary-General of the Financial Centre Council, organizes agenda setting, and presides over meetings in the absence of the chairman.
A core focus of the Governor’s portfolio will be coordinating the operational launch of the Financial Centre. This includes drafting priority regulatory documentation and establishing structured cooperation between state authorities and the Centre's governing bodies.
Furthermore, key responsibilities of the Governor include representing the Financial Centre domestically and abroad in relations with international organizations, investors, and partners; participating in major personnel decisions—such as appointing the Executive Director of the Financial Centre Administration and their deputies; and submitting recommendations regarding the leadership of the Financial Services Authority.
The Governor is also empowered to execute agreements, establish specialized working groups, and engage expert advisors.
