INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN ELEVATOR SAFETY

To ensure the implementation of Resolution No. 430 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated July 12, 2025, and to evaluate elevator safety in accordance with global benchmarks, international cooperative engagements are being actively pursued.
Within this framework, a working meeting was convened between specialists of the "Sanoat Xavfsizligi" (Industrial Safety) State Institution and experts from the National Elevator Inspection and Testing Center (NETEC) of the People’s Republic of China.
During the discussion, the parties reviewed laboratory testing capabilities, performance verification of elevator safety devices and mechanisms, bilateral knowledge sharing, and the practical adoption of international safety standards.
This cooperation will contribute to enhancing operational elevator safety, preventing substandard and hazardous equipment from entering the domestic market, and reinforcing public safety across the country.
